There is no reason to do a hot swap on an Xecuter 2 Lite, usually....
I say usually because in the last batch of chips I got I had five that were blank, so I had no other choice but to hot swap them to program them. Just be cautious, don't break anything when you take it apart, don't drop anything into the case (especially the power supply), try to touch as little as possible when you swap them, and finally be careful not to damage your install when you are connecting and disconnecting the connectors.

it's the simplest thing in the world to do. Don't wory about anything, just let the system boot and swap the chips and flash. Your not near anything to touch to mess anything up when you hot flash so don't even worry.

If you've got a v1.0 then watch out for the cpu fan. It's easy for your finger to get zzzzzipped when swapping chips. Although it's harmless it still makes me jump every time I touch it.
