I was just wondering if you can do a ram upgrade to a softmodded xbox. I'm assuming the answer is no since I read that you need to put a different Bios on there.
I'm just asking because I like my box softmodded. If I need to chip it I have a Xenium 24K on the workbench that I can put in, but I would rather not.

Yes, you can upgrade the RAM of a softmodded Xbox.
However, to the best of my knowledge, all exploits bases upon a BIOS patcher (such as NKpatcher) will not recognize the added RAM. Because of this, you'll need to use 'Phoenix BIOS Loader' to load an appropriate BFM BIOS into memory.

ok thanks. most of the links in the faq are dead. I pretty much know what I have to do, but not quite. I need both of the samsung chips, correct? also if there is a place to find links that are not dead it would be helpful.
