hey, ok so i see that some games dont work anymore when you back them up on the HDD(street ball 2, godzilla, red faction II ...). Ive been doing research but still dont have clear clue on how to fix this problem. People keep talking about XBE patching. Can i please get some info, where i can get some help, or anything to put me on the right track to fix this thing.

You get to use the exciting tool that many DSS testers get to use and that magic tool is.....HEXEDIT....which allows you to edit your xbe...but from reading it looks like there might be some sort of de-compiler so you can find the correct area to edit but I'm un-clear also....
If any one has some info on the xbe editing please post....

http://www.bestweb.net/~jltech/craxtion thats a link to craxtion which is a great patching utility. It searches for both long and short string media flags and has worked for me for all the new games that I couldnt crack with other patchers.
