I just caught this really interesting article on how to mod/fix an NES

http://www.swscenter.org/index.php?option=...8&Itemid=42

the guy covers how the security chip works and how one that is broken can lead to the same results as a faulty connector, then he goes into how to disable the chip which has the happy side effect of also making the console region free, and I would suppose also capable of playing backups, but I have no idea how you'd make backup cartridges laugh.gif

I thought you all might enjoy some truly CLASSIC console hacking. pop.gif
