Hi, Im flashed my Xbox360 drive with Xtreme firmware 4.3...I used Xtreme Boot Maker to flash it.

How do I update my flash to the newest firmware?

Do I just add in the newest version instead of the older 4.3 version in Xtreme Boot Maker?

Do I need to flash back to my original firmware before flashing again?

Im sorry I searched around quite a bit, and could not find anything.

you do not need to reflash the orig.bin. just get your key from it and hex it into the latest xtreme release 5.2 or use maximus fw toolbox as its easier.

then burn the 0800 disc to dual layer and insert it into your samsung before you try to flash to unlock the firmguard. then flash as you did before.

i prefer the manual method myself, but you can do what you wish as its your system, i'm just not comfortable allowing a computer to flash my drive automatically as my luck usually works against me in those situations!!
