Patrick is by far the best modder in the Edmonton Area.
He's extremely knowledgeable and professional, and a pretty cool dude too.
His price is ridiculously low compared to the other modders I talked to.
Of the five modders I talked to in Alberta, Patrick tried the hardest to get the job done.
All the others either didn't return my calls or emails (or delayed over a week getting back to me), priced flashing WAY too high (one asked me for $80), and basically didn't deliver or even know how to deal with this latest firmware.
One guy even tried to tell me that 078 Hitachi firmware couldn't be flashed and that NME didn't have a chip that would work, when it states on Underdog's site that their latest chip will work with 078 firmware.
Out of the local crop of installer/modders Patrick shines like a star in a field of unprofessional fucktards.
You would be a fool if you're considering a flash mod and didn't contact Patrick. He beat the second guy's price by $40, did it quick and I'm now enjoying a really great system with the latest firmware patch.
Cheers! Little Devil

I had my xbox modded by Patrick just the past week. He did an excellent job on the xbox as he was very professional and courteous. I've been using it everyday since and it's been working perfectly.
I did a softmod + hard drive upgrade. I had dropped off the xbox earlier in the day and he had called to tell me there were problems with the hard drive not being lockable. He then offered to just give me a stock xbox harddrive for free to get the job done.
Needless to say, he figured out what the problem was and was able to upgrade the hard drive I origionally provided him.
The fact that he even offered to give me a free HD to get the job done shows the level of service he's willing to go to make the customer happy.
I would recommend anyone to go to him if you're looking for someone that is knowledgable and trustworthy to mod your xbox. He knows his sh*t .
Plus the price is incredibly reasonable for what you get!

Great experience to report, Xbox 360 only took an hour, Pat was always professional. He gave me his cell number and address for assurance. Pat emailed me as promised with further details and contact information. He even took the time to show me that my console really does play game backups should I ever need to. $20 is a steal and I have no problem recommending his services to others.
Anyone who doesn't mod their Xbox 360 is a loser_n00b.

I had a pretty decent background in modding xboxes w/ both softmods and chips, but the 360 was new to me so I brought it to Patrick and in fact I was 2 of the mods in January. I would have just done it myself although for $20, it was cheaper than ordering the parts necessary so I figured why not.
The reason I brought it to him twice was that the fast speed, when flashed the first time, was causing my drive to whistle when it was loading for certain games. My 360 was only a week old, too, so I'm not sure what that was about.
He had mentioned it was going to be loud and reassured me that his drive was set to fast and it seemed tolerable. Regardless, I brought it back along with a friend's 360 to mod and had mine reflashed for $20 again. Aside from that, everything's working as it should and it was considerably cheaper than having anyone else do it.
I ended up ordering the parts to reflash the drive myself if ever necessary, simply because I'm cheap and I live on the complete opposite side of the city from him. Otherwise, I would trust him with my 360 100 times over.
Patrick did a great job and I'd highly recommend him for anyone looking to get their 360 modded. Easily the cheapest you'll find it and probably one of the nicer guys you could meet.
The only advice I can give is to go with the slow/quiet operation. It may have just been my drive specifically that was creating that intensely annoying sound, but I wouldn't bother taking that chance.

Patrick flashed my 360's Sammy earlier this evening. I seen this thread at work and dropped him an email, and later dropped it off, fresh out of the box an hour later picked it up after being shown it was fully working.
Very, Very Highly recommended.
if you're anywhere within an hour of edmonton drop this man a line.

I had always wanted get my Xbox modded, but I didn't want to pay whole lot of money to just to mod an Xbox. Then I found Patricks thread; $20 for the mod and another $20 for HD upgrade, $40 is one heck of a deal. My new improve Xbox is running perfect.
Patrick also modded my friends Wii, so far my friend is having a blast, now he can play is import Wii games.
Both mods where done on the same day, and both done in less than 2hrs. Patrick makes sure everything runs as is should be. Patrick puts quality in his work and is very perfessional. If I ever get myself a Wii or X360 I know i'll call Patrick.

I had my wii modded by Patrick, stand up guy. Got it done in less than an hour so I didn't have to travel back to the city, and made sure everything was working properly before I left.
If you are planning on getting a system modded I wouldn't hesitate to head out to Stony Plain, its worth the trip out there.
