hey everybody,

I had my box for about 8 months before it started giving me trouble. I got the ring of death, but I fixed it by applying arctic silver to my chips. I then flashed my ms25 drive and enjoyed it until it went back to the ring of death about a month and a half later.
I tried the heat gun fix last week, and it worked for about a week. After reading thread after thread on these fixes, have come to the conclusion that it might be better just to buy another 360.
I was wondering what drives are currently coming in the new shipments of 360's? Are there any drives out there that just aren't flashable?
I am trying to avoid doing a drive swap, but I will if it is the last resort...(I"ll try anyway...)
I would hate to buy another 360 if they are still having the same issues with the new ones though.

I have seen an auction on ebay from a seller that has 7 brand new motherboards for sale but I'm not sure if I should trust that or not either.

any input on these topics?
