Yeah......... PS3 owns nothing in system specs, well Wii but not 360. Do some reading on Sony's numbers, people have revealed the true numbers and its not impressive. Suffice to say PS3 IS NOT more powerful. Simple as that. Owns the 360, man your a n00b. |

Well do you have any links to back up your claims? I have a PS360 combo...for all you Wii60 people... Oh and I am typing this in the PS3 browser... Well lets look at the 360 and PS3 specs again 360=3 core 3.2ghz PPC PS3=8 core 3.2ghz PPC64 360=500mhz ATI graphics 512mb shared with system PS3=550mhz NVIDIA graphics 256mb dedicated to video 360=512mb DDR2? THE PURE NUMBERS ARE MISLEADING. When you benchmark the systems or do side by side comparison, the 360 is better. Ps3 has larger numbers but it is a great challenge to develop in that environment and get the most out of it. it will be a rare example if you can find a game that will make use of the extra horsepower in a way that is impressive. for the most part, it will go to make up for the poor dev support by making room in ram for sloppy coding. The development tools for the 360 are a godsend, and it uses GDDR3 ram, not DDR2... The 360 might have lower numbers, but the hardware makes up for it. The GPU is the best out there, and it isn't limited to 256MB like the ps3. The lighting is why you will never see anything as good looking as Gears of War on the ps3, all you get is the cartoony Resistance: Fall of Man. NVidia Sucks anyway, even Nintendo knew that before building the gamecube. No, the ps3 sounds more like a web server then a gaming rig. maybe someday it will come packaged with Solaris. |
