Yes I've searched the forums but I haven't been able to find any concensus on this problem. My 360 suddenly stopped playing all games yesterday (originals and backups that had been working flawlessly).. when it tries to read the disc, there's a little humming sound then it just says "open tray".. the funny thing is that it will still play DVD originals and backups fine, but absolutely no games. I don't know what firmware I have because someone else modded it for me. I would like to do fix it without opening up the case if at all possible. Any help is appreciated.

since the other guy n00bishly didn't answer your question. he read the topic and replied.

you would have to open up the case to flash it again to 5.2 if you have a samsung. at this time there is no other option if you want to get rid of that message.

otherwise you can keep ejecting and turning on/off the console til it works.
