Alright well I just got a hold of a heavy duty road AA certified road case from the theater that I work at because, well, I wanted to make a PS3 case. I brought it home and it's a PERFECT size. The PS3 fits into the foam that's in there just right. Here are some pics of it right now.

I still need to get more foam though to fit to the wood part of the case and then to hold everything else. Here's what all I want to fit in there

1 PS3
1 Component cable
1 Composite cable
1 HDMI cable
1 Optical cable
1 Power cable
4 10ft USB cables
1 PS2-PS3 memory card adapter
4 PS2-PS3 controller adapters
6 sixaxis controllers
1 Bluetooth remote
1 Bluetooth headset
2 Metal CD cases (one for games, one for movies)

So yeah that's the plan smile.gif Any one have any suggestions or comments? What should I paint the case so that it looks awesome but doesn't tell anyone what's in side to prevent theft lol...

UPDATE:
Alright well I just wanted to tell people the plan. Here's what the case looks like with my PS3 and 2 controllers inside. Obviously I still need to get the foam but you can see how perfect this case really is biggrin.gif

secondly here's what the layout will be. It's no where near the right proportions but you get the basic idea.

IPB Image

1=PS3
2=Controllers
3=Remote
4=Cables
When I made this I forgot about the bluetooth headset but that's going to go on the same side as the remote.

Ah, hoping you were *making* a custom PS3 plastic case, not a storage...thing, either way good luck, wanna put some vents or something on that? Or are ya just gonna take it out when playing?

Lol yeah I know I can't edit the title now... Well any ways just a quick update

I've got all the stickers off and I took off the metal pate that was the case makers logo and stuff so now it's one smooth case. I just need to bondo up the holes, sand the outside, and paint it then at least the outside part of its done.

A Elusid, What color you goin' for? Flat Black on Flat Black would make it low-key, so you can hide it in the shadows under yo bed. What you think?

After

I need to polish the metal now and get the primer that spraid over on to it off and then come up with what I want on the front. I was thinking of the same lettering as on the PS3 saying “PLAYSTATION” then bellow that the “PLAY B3YOND” text.
