I have tried connecting to XBOX Live via ICS. When I do the "ipconfig /all" thing it says that DHCP is enabled, but when I try to test the connection the IP Address part fails.
My XBOX 360 is connected to my laptop via the ethernet cable that came with the console and I have ensured that the box is ticked that allows other network users to connect through the computer's internet connection.
I can't view any webpages when that box is ticked. Is that how it is supposed to be?

in your network connections folder, select both adapters and right click the ethernet adapter you have your internet comming in on, and select bridge. after the adapters are bridged your router/modem will assign your box an ip via DHCP.
