If you use an external drive it will only show up as one big memory card.

Hm, im not sure i havn't tried.

But im guessing you can.

As for 'stream'... i donk know what you mean by that.

Like play them from the external HDD?

Well, try this first...

Using a file explorer in evox or something else like boxplorer

Copy a song to your mem unit...

THen using unleashed X 'My Dash of choice'

open up file explorer and select the song with the 'a' button and see if it plays or not.

If it doesnt, then nope... if it does... then yes i think you should be able to..

If this sounds confusing then tell me ill re-write it for you.

See i dont know if you can play from the mem unit.
If you can play from the mem unit then yes you can from an external HDD.

If you have the external HDD, then plug it into the box, format it

Format instructions....

Plug it into the xbox...
Open up the file explorer...
Highlight your External HDD...
Press the button that lists your options like 'move, copy, delete, rename'
Format should be listed there...
Format it.

Put music and stuff on it using your PC or Xbox,
Open up the file explorer,
Select the External HDD,
Select a song in it or video...
See if it plays.
If it does then it works,
if not then no dice

Get an internal and lockable IDE drive, like one in this chart that's lockable, http://xboxdrives.x-pec.com/?p=list7QFruVa...ojAszxYW9nBFlLA
