Just purchased a 360 dated Sept 23, 2007, will that be the new philliphs drive? Is there a date list posted somewhere that I could look it up myself?

I mean the new drive that just came out. I thought it was a philliphs, not the phillips for the delevopers. Is the new drive a Lite-On?

There are retail drives with the new Benq (use to be philips) on the market. But pretty sure they started after that, Honestly would have been quicker to look at the tray
