Blaster360 Released To Testers And PCU Redesign
Posted by Syrus | February 20 10:44 EST

Today from Team Xecuter:
[QUOTE]
We have FINALLY managed to get the Blaster360 shipped to testers (inc Xbox-Scene, Maxconsole etc) so you will now be able to see the product in action in someone elses hands. Probably the most heavily delayed and headache inducing product we've ever worked on lol

Shipping to retailers *would* have been next week but Chinese New Year is currently underway so we have to wait at least 10 days before the factory kicks in again :/

If you saw our preview install pics (link here) you will notice that the PCU (Power Control Unit) was fixed to the bottom of the ODD (Optical Disc Drive). That has now been changed and is a much cleaner and easier install as you can see from the following pictures. All those that have had pre-orders in for the last few weeks will soon be happy bunnies

Awesome guys!

Find this kinda funny smile.gif

In an earlier interview, Team Xecuter said: * Superior quality design - no cheap China manufacturing

And now they say: Shipping to retailers *would* have been next week but Chinese New Year is currently underway so we have to wait at least 10 days before the factory kicks in again :/

So you guys don't know that everything is made in China, you lot must be living under a rock.

Team Xecuter will be using decent manufactures just like they used for there excellent Xecuter 3 products.

I don't know why you even bother bashing a team like this when the cheap adapters you buy will most likely be made in China as well

Can't wait to get this...don't see how this is a bullshit product when it simplifies everything, for people like me who grasp modding xbox 1's but have a little harder time(or no time)to deal with the 360.

As a matter of fact, not everything is made in china, though I know that almost every single electronics component is. Im not blaming them for using Chinese manufacturers, but when they wrote "no cheap China manufacturing" - they kinda implicit said that their product wasn't made in China at all, at least in my opinion...

I know that there are alot of different eastern manufacturers, with different qualities...

I did not read anywhere that this unit was going to be made in China. Don't you guys know that Japan, Korea and China all celabrate the first new moon of the year?

TeamX could be having these units made in Korea. To be honest I have not idea but lets not just jump to conclusions without haveing the facts.

$70
haha
i dont no how ppl can jusitfy paying $70 for this when you can make something that does a better job for the price of a few sata cables
THIS mod is a hell of alot better and its going to cost you like $5 and its not going to be as ugly as the blaster
but at the end of the day its your money
do with it what u want

This product is to late to the game.

New firmwares used to come out like every other week with new features...But not anymore because they have added virtually all the features into it allready...I flashed by 360 a few months ago...and havn't opened it up sense...theres not even a newer firmware out there for it (78).

I think the reason they are charging so much isn't because your buying top of the line quality...but because they are digging themselves into a hole, and they are hopping to climb outta it.

They should of just scrapped this months ago, and put that money towards something that people would actually want to buy.

I don't mind stuff being made in china or taiwan, much stuff originates from those countries thats a fact. But I fail to see the real use of this chip, atleast for that high price.

You can't compare Korea / Japan vs. China... Its like comparing Europe or US vs. China...

yep, agreed on they should not have bothered with this. maybe they assumed that firmware would keep updating, because ms would counter things. but ms has not done much yet, and the price of this does not justify for what it does.

if they lowered to £20 i may buy one, but like so much stuff these days, the costs ouweigh the worth of the goods.
