i was just going to ask if you had been visiting the site before the update. but i checked all the links on the site, they do link to the 0.81. Does the skin page tell you that its 0.81 and just link to the 0.80 or does it not say anything about 0.81 at all?

I was visiting the site before the update and after. I never saw any mention 0.81, it was as if nothing changed. The link in your website for the download was showing 0.80.

Tried again this morning and now all is working fine.

Can I just say I do absolutely love this skin and it has become my instant default, its so smooth and the graphics are spot on. I do have a few questions/suggestions however:

1) Is it possible to rearrange the order of the options at the top of the screen for music, video etc? For example when going into Video the Movie Trailers tab at the top is off screen unless you scroll across, i'd like to be able to see it as default to make it more obvious.

2) I've set the settings to show background video which works fine for Video but for the visualisations in the background every time i move between menus the visualisation changes. Not sure if this is just an inherant XBMC thing though? Also I find it quite hard to read the text when the visualisations are going...thing is it looks so much better with them in the background but it would be nice for the text to be more prominant!

3) Not sure on the blue colour for things that are selected/rss feeds...it seems to clash a bit on my TV. Im guessing theres a way to edit that in xml however..i just dont know it.

Im sure there are other suggestions/things i had in mind but i cant think of them at the moment. Can i just congratulate you guys once more because whoever is working on the graphics has it just spot on, it looks sweet.

Oh, and my queestion about scripts still stands...where on earth are they? (without going into file manager). Is it possible to add them to the Programs list? Ta!

Exulus, simply press the right thumbstick to be able to get to the scripts, it is the rightmost icon.

Great work on the skin, pm3 is history now that I found this great skin, love your work .

Some bugs that I found and some suggestions:

1:suggestion; when playing media and watching the home screen, pressing the white button could bring up the content menu ( or whatever it is called, where you can see what movie/album is playing and time left etc...)

2:suggestion; an option to change the font color to make the text stand out better on different backgrounds

3:bug?; in big wraplist view, the foldernames are not scrolling

4:bug?; when in list within an album, the text is "cut off" quite far from the time of the song, this distance could be shortened and it would still look nice while displaying more of the song's name. I suppose this has something to do with the text size when a song is highlighted/selected in the list view.

5:suggestion; when watching video or listening to an album, pressing the white button twice could bring up the more detailed view with imdb info and thumbnail, as in the clearity skin.

6:bug?; when fast forwarding or reversing a movie/song the color on the progress bar disappears, i.e. the color that marks how much you've seen of the movie.

7:bug?/suggestion; when lowering the volume to -60 no mute icon appears. It would be nice with a mute icon

8:me complaining while I shouldn't , (suggestion) ; the watched/unwatched icons for library view are quite ugly (my opinion). The ones in pm3 or clearity are more to the point I think. The current ones look a bit like the security center icons in windows. Just being picky.

Again thanks for this great skin, I didn't think after pm3 that xbmc's looks could be improved by this much, keep up the good work

Exulus that was a bug that has been there from the beginning. It has already been fixed. You can actually see the script button behind the master mode button. We should be releasing an update with this fix soon.

I'm glad to see that you guys are enjoying the skin. We have been taking a short break. But, I'll look into you bugs and suggestions.

Yes, that would make sense because I also noticed that while the screenshot says "Enter master mode", on the TV it actually says "Leave master mode" even though i wasnt in master mode. Clicking it flashes very briefly "enter master mode" and then it asks for a password and then a box at the bottom pops up saying the caution stuff about being in the mode.

If i go back to the right thumbstick menu then it'll say "enter master mode" instead of leave master mode! I assume thats been fixed too.

PS - Any chance of having YouTube on the list next to Movie Trailers in the video section? Or is it even possible to put it in the source list? Im not too sure about that...would be nice to have the big icons though.

I have tried it for some days now and seems like PMIII has to go for good. You have really worked
the new skin engine nicely i can see. Love the native wideicon and new list style support !!

The Only thing i must say is that the OSD graphics sucks It doesnt go along at all
with the overall feel of this skin. I hope you also slick up this in a later version.

Also if you make a selectable option for putting a scripts button on the homepage (like with the shutdown button) it would be nice. Many of us uses scripts on a daily basis and it deserves more direct access.

Again thanks and keep up the nice work. I know have much work that gets put into a skin

I agree, im absolutely itching for updates to this...especially 16:9 support. I know you said you were on a break so its all cool but please come back soon because i have completely fallen in love with Slate! It deserves more recognition!

I'm glad that you guys are enjoying Slate so much. Sorry for the late update.

We have been trying to take a break but there is still so much to do. I have fixed a few bugs. I've also changed the way some of the things work. I've listened to your comments and have added some new options. I also added a new feature. I'm hoping that you guys will like. Sorry can't give any info until we release a new version.

We won't be releasing a new version until the next T3CH release. There are things in the skin that won't work or look right until the next xbmc release.

fluidman is working on new versions of our script skins and making some colored themes. Hopefully we will have them available with the next release.

If you guys find any other bugs please post them. I don't get to bug test Slate that much. Also, keep the ideas and comments coming.

This version has some bug fixes in it. Please check the changlog.

I also listened to your suggestions and added some new features such as the scripts button on the home screen.

Since we included the Apple Movie Trailers button, people had started to request new scripts be added. Instead of adding new scripts I have removed the AMT button and put in script bookmarks in the skin settings. This will allow the user to specify which script they want to launch. There are 4 buttons per media section. For these buttons to operate correctly you need to give the button a name, specify the path to the default.py, and enable the button. I hope that you guys like this new addition. I want to thank jmarshall for the help with this and Jezz_X for the example in his Xbox Classic skin.

As always be sure that you are using the latest T3CH version of xbmc.
