Hey i ended up with a ps3 w/o its case (dont ask). I was wondering if u guys thought it was safe to prop it up on something and have it run w/o the case. or does anyone know where i can buy a case...i searched everywhere and cant find one.

Put it inside a PC case. You can be the first one around the Scene to do it. Go for it.

HAHA nice. As long as you don't rest it on anything metal or that can get fire and the main components are raised (mobo, psu etc) you should be fine.

Try looking on Ebay for a spare PS3 case. Alternative you could buy a broken PS3. You could also email team xtender or what ever there called see if they make PS3 replica cases (i forgot if they don't).

well after searching high and low i guess i am left with building my own case. does anyone know how to recreate the touch sensitive buttons? does anyone have measurements or blueprints of the case?

I dont think we have the blueprints but just put inside pc case because it will be better beatihing space for the ps3 and you know what you can do just try to water cool the ps3 you will be the first one to do that. go for it!

for the touch sensitive buttons it just has to be metal, if you touch the metal pieces with the lid off the buttons work smile.gif also I have a few different busted PS3's here, I could sell you the case off one of them but the internal design varies depending on which model it is.
