Discover what your Xbox Live name says about you
Posted by XanTium | March 3 12:59 EST | News Category: Xbox360

From gamesradar.com:
[QUOTE]
Few acts in life seem less significant than selecting an Xbox Live Gamertag. After all, it's just a meaningless string of letters and numbers that happen to look good together or happen to be available at the time. Right?

Then again, your name is your identity. It is a symbol of who you are, a representation of both how you perceive yourself and how you'd like to be perceived by others. The fact that it's being used solely for videogames does nothing to lessen its importance - or its impact - when you consider that escapist entertainment is where we play out the roles we wish we could embody in real life. No blaming your parents, either, as this is a name and an identity that you choose.

So is there secret significance hidden within your online handle? We decided to find out.

I'm not sure "Donkey Punch 06" is as animal-themed as they think it is... laugh.gif

I think Reaper would be in the violence catagory, hence the grim reaper aka death

and I think Camping Spree would be in the Exclusion catagory because only people who play multiplayer shooters would know what spawn camping was.

Now if anyone would like to enlighten me, I have no idea what catagory my name fits into.

Hmm, my name would fit into the 1337speek thing. I've been using this name since back in the Starcraft days, and I just haven't ever felt the need to change it. I keep the M and the N capital because I'm OCD and it drives me insane if things aren't symmetrical (that's why there is a 47 on both sides for those of you that wonder). I really hate the freaking x thing but for some reason unbeknownst to me XBL won't allow me to start my gamertag with a number. That makes no since to me, but I guess to someone at MS it does. If I could go back I would change it to i or something, but I'm not willing to pay 800ms points to change 2 letters.

OMG that is so funny.. I was thinking the same thing. Apparently they have never heard of a Donkey Punch. It still fits into one of their categories thought LOL.

If you dont know what a donkey punch is.. well.. try urbandictionary.com

Oh man.. I still cant stop laughing about the coincidence of them choosing this name for this article in particular and fudging it all up. Good stuff!

Pure unmitigated bullshit. People like this really shouldn't get any credit as it's just meaningless crap.

Article makes sense - and is probably true. The violence page reminds me of all the kiddies on Halo with "BLOODSNIPERPIMPXXXXXXX" -esque names.

I don't really know where my name fits ---
"Bushido (, Bushido?), meaning "Way of the warrior", is a Japanese code of conduct and a way of life, loosely analogous to the European concept of chivalry."

I think we'd have to know what JustDanMI means or where it came from to decide what it means.
