i searched the forum and looked in the links but i cant seem to find a guide to flashing a 78fk, can any1 help me here? thx again

ROM v0078Fk is a pain in the A$$. I'm still waiting on a friend that has a compatible motherboard to flash mine for me.

The 78 is so particular.

Actually.....you might not be good with Via.
I have a 6421L and it does not recognize 78's. I know others have the same issue.
I have to use my onboard NF 570 for 78's

im using via, i dont think flashing the 78 is that bad. worst damn part is that case. man i hate taking it apart

I have a via6421l pci card and every drive flashes no problem. I like the 78fk drive it is so easy to flash with the toolbox and it is very fast too.
