How to Get Your Girlfriend to Play Video Games
Posted by XanTium | March 5 23:51 EST | News Category: GamingGeneral

From wikihow.com:
[QUOTE]
Many men, at some point, will be forced to part with their beloved game console by supreme order of their female counterparts. This can be avoided using proven game system/girlfriend social activities to gradually introduce gaming culture to our loved ones. You may not get her into Resident Evil, but she might end up playing some games you both can enjoy.

My wife and I play MapleStory. It's a little childish and easy but it's fun, and she enjoys it. The important thing to remember is that most women don't like the competetive aspect of video games, so don't be better than her (I know that's hard). In MapleStory we make sure we are always the same level, which is generally more fun anyways. Hopefully MapleStory will be a nice stepping stone to a good MMORPG.

My girlfriend is all about the old school games like Ms. Pac-man and 8-bit NES. She would get her feet wet in GTA back in the day but the only recent game we play together would be some Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike! I'm perfectly fine with that! I'd like it if she played some Gears of War though, that would be the shizz but dual analog controllers make that impossible! LOL biggrin.gif

Dreamfall was definitely a stepping stone for mine. Story driven and small bits of action seemed to be a good mix, since the game sort of plays like a movie. Recommended as a first timer chick game.

wonder how i would get my 20 year old girl to play ANYTHING on xbox 360 i was thinking about getting her like 60+ thousand MS points and let her start off with xbox live arcade. Then move her on to things like RPG's, platformers and so on....(she always plays games on the computer though but nothing to graphical.......)

I was playing Hexic and my girlfriend asked to have a go. Now she's hooked and I can't get on the damn thing! Time to ease her onto a FPS me thinks... ph34r.gif
