Haha, he says that like there was actually focus on it in the first place. Microsoft has never cared about backward compatibility. At this point I don't think it's even possible to put any less focus on it without just dropping backward compatibility development completely.

with he exception of a few titles i like most of my xbox1 games work on my 360.

I cant believe the crap they are spitting out 2 many 360 tittles. I think they just cbf any more. I say release a kit that other devs can use 2 work on BC.
I cant wait for the 360 to be hacked & we possibly find a way to make our own BC files.

I was never concerned with BC. Only Xbox game I played on it was Halo 2

Ya hit the bail on the head. I agree with that 100& I hate when people whine about BC, when they complain they can't play some XBOX1 game on their 360. It's bot like their XBOX1 has died (most of the time) when they got a 360, or they sold the XBOX1 but not their games. That's dumb, if they really liked to play those older games, why sell the machine that they play on? Some people are so stupid that it hurts.

Not everyone has money to buy everything, in my case I traded my xbox1 cuz I the guy at gamestop told me that Every game would be playable. At that time I didnt have internet so how would I know? And I didnt have money to buy it, well all of the money.

My fav game is Steet Fighter AC and belive it or not I wouldnt trade my XBOX1 if I knew it wasnt compatible.

If ur favorite game is halo 2 and its not BC u would complain. If not well congratulations

this is very disappointing to hear. what about when all the xbox 1s fail? what about protecting people's investments? this is just helping the "throwaway society" mentality.

now definitely even more looking forward to wide open homebrew

Microsoft MADE A STATEMENT during their hype launch fest weeks that "xbox 360 will be backwards compatible with ALMOST EVERY xbox 1 game eventually" and that "continuous development effort is being made to include every xbox 1 game in the BC list as soon as possible". So people who complain about the stupid lame BC on the X360, like myself, are not "whining", we are angry consumers who listened to marketing bullsht from M$.

That's EXACTLY what I did, I let my xbox1 go so I could afford the 360 and STILL play the games I like VERY MUCH, and that I did NOT sell: Gun Valkyrie, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Crazy Taxi 3 and Voodoo Vince are the ones I can think of right now.

Again, because M$ lied about BC being fully compatible at some point - and that's not happening...

Even when full-blown homebrew is possible, I doubt we'll be able to do anything with BC, or getting un-BC games to run properly at all. If the most talented engineers at Microsoft, working with source code some of the time, for months (and years) on end couldn't make it possible, I highly, highly doubt we'll be able to.

ok the bc is a emulator. and a emu at that level normaly consest of them testing game and if they run perfect they toss it on the list. however they dont test every game it would be pretty inposable so they skip games that didnt sell well or simply are relly old. weather or not there good. once we have full homebrew thers plenty we can do with bc you eouls be suprised on how many games run perfect or near perfect that probly are not on the list. this happoned with the dreamcast and the genises smashpack.
