I've got a problem with a brand new HDD.

It's a 160gb Hitachi that I just got it in from Newegg, and after about 4 hours of use, it made a loud sparking noise, and now anything it is plugged into won't turn on (my xbox, my friends, my comp), and if it is already turned on, it will immediately shut off.
I have stopped plugging it into things to protect them from any damage from some sort of short (which this appears to be), but it really bugs me that I waited a week for this thing and it broke after 4 hours...now I've got to RMA it with Hitachi and all of that other boring stuff that will take up more time.

Anyone else ever had problems with a HDD install?
