Team Xecuter: Shipping to Retailers of Blaster360
Posted by XanTium | March 16 09:19 EST | News Category: Xbox360

From Team Xecuter:
[QUOTE]
Shipping of the Blaster360 has begun. Retailers should expect to recieve stock in the next few days. We have also included a 360 Case Unlock Tool that would normally retail for $10 at no extra cost.

We should recap on a couple of points raised on the forums when asked what the difference was between the Blaster360 and other cheap rip offs. The Blaster360 includes the following major differences....
* Electronic Digital Sata Exchange - 100% reliability on Flashing Firmware & Dumping Game data to the PC - ESSENTIAL FOR RELIABILITY!
* Seperate Power Input - Auto internal switching unit that completely isolates the power to the ODD away from the Xbox. Also no need to carry around the Xbox360 Huge Power Supply.
* Built In Connectivity Kit (Modeb / Eject / Samsung MS28 Power on/off)
* We include the Xbox360 Case Unlocking tool that retails for $10
* Easier & faster installation - no ripping apart the metal frame
* LED function for Xbox mode & PC mode (also includes Glow feature and can be disabled)
* Much higher quality build - no cheap China rips offs.
* Months of real testing by ourselves and many scene members - all with 100% results.
* Original Xecuter Design - Support the makers not the fakers.
* Huge community support

The Blaster360 manuals and guides will be hosted in the next few days at www.team-xecuter/blaster360

The PS3 HDXT will be shipped to retailers in the next 10 days and is already on pre sale with the likes of www.divineo.net. You can buy the PS3 HDXT seperatley from the SATA to IDE convertor to keep your costs down to a minimum - not everyone would require this so why buy it if you don't need it?

About time, but it's to late now since the firmware has slowed down. This should been out a long time ago. Waist of $80

Dam I wanted to be first post and be positive about it, nice work team xecuter.

I wish all these moaning people would complain about the 360 price being to expensive instead, £40 for this is nothing.

in all fairness team xecuter always deliver quality products but like already stated this comes out bit late as the fw updates hav slowed down a lot. woulda been lot more useful few months back. still at lest it adds easier dumping but for $80 im happy to open my 360 anytime a new fw is released. guess its useful to pirate kings out there.
just my 2cents.

cheers

Must say it is a bit pricey. I just received my dvd drive back from the repair shop and it took me all of 5 min to open my unit and remove the dvd drive (new one) that was in there and then install the old one to test it out (and it worked) and then put it back together. Since the f/w have slowed down has mentioned above, I too will just take it apart when needed.

I'm not going to take the time to rip on this thing... but I want to ask about this...

WTF does "Electronic Digital Sata Exchange" mean? Apparently, other similar products don't have it. (And Google doesn't know either)
Apparently, competitors don't use electricity to transmit their analog SATA connections. blink.gif

Finally! I wish US retailers would carry this. Hopefully the $$ will go down a little in the future. The ability to rip games is a plus. No need to get the Sh-d162.

Im all for supporting those who provide solutions... For £40 this is a joke. I made this mod myself months ago with a simple sata extension cable baought from maplins, cant remember the exact price but it was around £3. Fair enough it dosent put hitatchis into modeb but there is a freely available Linux distro to do that... As for Electronic Digital Sata Exchange, what the hell is that, and why does my homemade kit work without such a component?
Much higher quality build - No cheap china rip off's? Your plastic is somehow superior to the plastic used throughout the world?
Original Xecuter design? wow, didnt realise you guys designed sata extentions... dry.gif It comments like this that would make me steer clear of a product, regardless of who made it. If an companys form of proving that thier product is better is by calling other companys fakers, then obviously thier product has no other truly defining features.

So i guess it a £37 L.E.D? Ha, no thanks bud!

I agree that this is too pricey and came out WAY to late. It should have been out months ago! But I garrantee that all you people that bash Team Xecuter don't have as much knowledge as they do, I mean, what exactly have you guys done for the xbox scene expect complain about a team that is trying to help the scene... doesn't make sense to me, but whatever!

I feel as though my opinion is an unbias one. If anything I would say I am on the side of xecuter, since I own a couple of their products. I would most definitely buy this product... if it weren't so damn expensive. I think a $50/60 price point would be more appropriate, but $79 + s/h is just too much.

The price of this is not Team Xecuters decision, it's the decision of the resellers. They are selling it to the retailers for $47-$51, so the resellers could easily sell it for $60 and still make profit. So don't diss Xecuter because of the price!

No one here is claiming to have more knowledge, but if say sheerly for example i did have more knowledge, would that in turn give me the right/authority to slander other products with a semi racist comment? Or "invent" components that are unnecessary?

If it does, im gonna hit the books, seems there is a lot of folk who would then take every word i say to be gospel... dry.gif
