Hi everyone - just installed YDL on my PS3. The install was very quick and smooth and all seemed fine. However there is just one slight problem - I cannot access the internet via Firefox in Linux.

All is well via the PS3 OS - I've access to both the web and the Playstation Store.

In Linux I've successfully managed to ping all the other machines (mixed mac and pc) and my router - I can also access the router admin via the web browser so the physical connection is fine.

What am I missing - I've tried everything but to no avail. I've set the PS3 as a fixed IP address in linux - selecting DHCP always fails on start up.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

How stupid am I! - it was a problem with DHCP switched off on the router hence no DNS server info was being sent - all resolved now.

Onto to sussing out how to use YDL

Thanks to all who took the time to read this post
