Looks sweet. If I sent you a $ or two for shipping would you give me the "Puck" part of your cannibalized wired headset? I need one for a xbox1/360 headset mashup. I don't like the new headset but loved the old behind the head type.

i think its a nice idea but the look of it can be stepped up, first glance u can tell that it was pecied togeather..

I say if u put something over the hole thing like a piece of plastic or something to hide where the 2 peices are connected, it would look a lot better

you cant even see that it is on the inside

but I do agree it looks like crap and like I said it was my first try at it the next will be way better

I will try to cover up that mess of wires and crappyness with something

any ideas would be great

see the problem is the part with the lights on it has to be made smaller to fit within the white part or th boom on the mic

now I have one of those old plastic welding kits for small cars so you could crash them then weld it together it is just small motor with a plastic tip that when spun and put against other plastic will melt and fuse together the parts I did that but it was black plastic and thats why I covered it with white shrink tube

bondo is a good idea what is really neaded is some kind of cap over that screw and wires part of it so it looks cleaner

under the shrink tube it looks good but just black not white plastic so I covered it up

I still say if M$ sold it like this they would sell alot of them it isnt like it is to long and puts stress on your ear it actually fits great

You could try smoothing down all the plastic and building it up as needed and cover the open areas with some heat shrink tubing, that might help appearances.
