Now the question goes that how many resourses gets relieved once a game starts?
Dude,NONE! weren't you paying attention. These are both multi-threaded systems. These tasks are to be run in the backgorund at all times and all that memory is not available to devs at all. It must only be used for their respective dash. So technically the 360 has more memory to work with and the ps3 is an even bigger pain thanks to the fact that its not shared memory. Also lets not forget the 10mb eDRAM on the 360 thats reserved for hi def visuals only. This is separate from the 512 system ram. Ps3 has no such solution giving it alot of bandwidth issues for hi def visuals.

Wow, you posted part of some microsoft guy's blog which makes references to a year old article that tries to guess what features the ps3 will have and how much memory they will use. Good job, xbox-scene.
*deletes xbox-scene.com from favorites list*
this has been confirmed by devs and sony themselves.........do some research. Check out last year's GDC.
