Ok so i finally had to do this and noticed there was no tutorial on it, so ill write one, enjoy. It's acctualyl really easy.

dissasemble controller then flip it over so your looking at the board like this.

You then need to pry apart the "arm" that connects the trigger to the actuator (the black thing) fromn the trigger itself, it will come apart, but it will need a little persuasion.

The arrows are to show the direction you should pull the parts

one youve dont that it should look something like this, you need to persuade the trigger past the next plastic parts, again the arrows are to show direction, once you do this it should look like the 4th picture.

once youve done that just remove the spring (carefully so it doesnt fly off) and then you should be able to wiggle the trigger away from the board.

Viola, youre done, to reassmble just do thiese steps in reverse.

They're both colors everywhere, just the newer controllers have white ones. wink.gif

my last shipment of 6 wireless controllers are all like that, and my previous 2 Rf boards have been like that, as well as a few customers items that have been more recently purchased i origionally thought they were broken.

hey grim_d, I've tried this before I knew about your tut, did the same, came here to realize im in the right direction, but I can't remove it, removed the spring and everything else but I can't do the same with the rest of the trigger...


am I missing something?

Do I need to de-solder?

Make sure your careful about popping them out and in from the arm and fully separate them (don't worry about breaking them), some plastic can chip off of the arm which causes the triggers to click when put back to use. I learned this the hard way, don't do that same lol.

If i am using just regular plastic spraypaint. it was bout 5 or 6 bucks. do i need to sand down the bumpers and triggers?
