i wonder if ther is any chance that a usb tv card can connect to the xbox and work so you could record with the xbox? and why on the back of the xbox in the conection it sais "video audio in\out"?

If it's a good card (Hauppauge, Pinnacle, or something), it'll work fine. Just make sure it's USB 2.0. Capture cards get a lot of bad press for being finicky, but if you follow the ordering of the instructions carefully, it'll usually work fine.

No.

He doesn't wanna use his PC to record, he wants to hook up a capture card to his xbox and use his xbox to record.

Ah, my mistake. Although I once had a Hauppauge USB 1.1 tuner that worked "okay"... would be interesting to have it work on the xbox. :-P
