Hi,

I bought a semi-borked xbox for AUS$10.

It has a 80g HDD and is softmodded, it will play burned games perfectly, but when i boot it up without any disk in the dvd it just freezes on the xbox logo with the white microsoft underneath.

I can't FTP to it, is there something i can D/L and burn to disk that will boot on the xbox to enable FTP.

You probably will need to get one of the original 3 Exploitable games, a memory card, Action Replay (or use similar technique) and redo the softmod. That is what I have done when I fixed an Xbox with the same problem but maybe there is something else you can run that I am not aware of.

I would either say redo the softmod with another one or buy a mod-chip and run a slayer auto-installer disk in the xbox to fix it. Way one is much cheaper though biggrin.gif
