Good idea for the extra marketplace blade, very cool. MSN integration kinda, ive been waiting for that for a while, though typing will suck, now i must wait for voice chat...

Chatting in movies, thats funky, 6 contact chats, i like it.

yea those are very cool. The msn thing is cool, now my gf can interrupt my game while she is at work grr.gif

That low power download thing was a great idea and sound very Wii-ish wink.gif

All we need now is a browser so we can traverse forums also. It would be great to be able to pull up GameFAQ.com while playing games. Download/stream podcasts that are 360 compatible. Stuff like that. Even get RSS notifications during game laugh.gif

Check out http://www.xbstream.com/xbs/ for downloading/streaming podcasts.

MSN stuff is cool, but since all of my friends use AIM, I have no use for it. I'm not really excited about the new update.

No mention of support for 1366x768 HDTVs via VGA. I am sure I heard they where improving this for the next update. I can only hope.

New Marketplace blade just killed MC360 ahah.

Least impressive update EVER...

I hope to god they dont include the damn nudges and those stoopid animated wink things... That would totaly destroy your game. I dont understand how the low power thing would work, it cant shut the fans off completly as stated by the comentator of the video as you CPU or GPU would just burn. And if it can run quieter by slowing the fans why oh why do so many people complain of both noisy boxes and/or heating issues?

Im not really interested in a browser either, but even i have to say it would be more welcomed than a poxy messenger plugin. Why cant they give us what we need, no what we demand, xvid, matroska and x264 support, then we will have a machine that could dominate the next gen market. Some dedicated servers for xbox live games would be great too as this peer to peer thing just dosent work right on a global scale, the only game that pulls it off consistently is Call of Duty 3, which has VERY impressive netcode, Bungie would be wise to take a look at the way that works for H3 so we dont end up with the shambles of a lagfest that H2 was.

And before i get flamed to death for saying bad things about H2, let someone from another country try and host a game, and that goes for everyone in any country. I used to live in the UK and Every match had an american host, which made my shots somehow never count, now i live in spain i still only ever get american hosts. Is Bungie trying to tell me there is no one in Europe, home to some of the worlds fastest public consumption DSL lines, capable of hosting a poxy 16 player game of halo, when for example i could host a 64 player Battlefield 2 server no sweat?

I better shut up now before i start about marketplace download speeds, having to leave the xbox on overnight for a 1gig demo is simply insane....
