Homebrew definitely. Linux is alright, but don't find a use for operating systems like Linux, Windows & Mac on consoles. Backing up software is definitely useful, it’s just not the coolest. But definitely 2nd is case mods, as they have potential to look amazing and shows a lot more creativity and uniqueness per console.

I think they should have ammended "homebrew" to just say "XBMC". I dont mean to disrespect the homebrew scene as a whole, but XBMC is truely the greatest homebrew app that could have been made for the Xbox. Here we are in 2007 and Apple comes at us with the Apple TV... a crippled version of what the XBMC programmers supplied us with years ago (at no charge nonetheless). I originally modded my Xbox for backups and emulators, but now it has a new job as the family media server. All our music and movies backed up in one place, with full remote control functionality (thanks again XBMC guys). So....

I was going for homebrew, but chose Case Mods because i find them most fun. All the electrical stuff is great too, but putting in lights etc is my fav.
I'd only pick backups if it meant onto the HDD, cos that was a great feature. Linux doesnt really do it for me, doesnt matter anyway.
Its funny, the modders are gonna be the 1 thing keeping Xbox 1 alive, cos MS certaintly dont care anymore...

I was torn between Homebrew/Backups... But the ability for homebrew means Linux. I'd also like to see exactly what I can do w linux on a console(Never modded xb1). 9.6ghz baby!! Frito
