From gamerscoreblog.com (FYI: Microsoft owned blog):
[QUOTE]
This week on Xbox LIVE Video Marketplace in the US, the team is proudly announcing something that'll excite Comedy Central fans. You can now begin downloading episodes of The Daily Show and The Colbert Report, as soon as six hours after they air. In fact, Last night's episodes are already up on Xbox LIVE.

* The Colbert Report - Get all the 'truthiness' of THE COLBERT REPORT right here on Xbox. Host Stephen Colbert treats the important topics of our time and the daily news with absolutely no seriousness whatsoever.
* The Daily Show - The most trusted name in fake news is now available on Xbox. Get your fix of Jon Stewart, his intrepid team of correspondents and their spin on all the day's news and newsmakers.

On top of your daily dose of Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, you'll find some great new movies and TV shows this week.

I've never seen the Daily Show since Jon Stewart started hosting it.

I will never pay for episodes on Xbox LIVE regardless of the show, they need to stop trying to make money on every single little thing, getting nickeled and dimed left and right.

$2.00 per episode...That works out to around $72/month to watch both shows, close to double what it would cost to just go out and get basic cable. iTunes is a much better deal at $10 for 16 episodes.

Why would anyone want to buy all the episodes? Did they confirm the price ?

Who said anything about anything illegal? Just DVR the series as well as any other thing for pennies on the dollar compared to what they charge.

160 points is alot once you starting getting enough to make a difference, ie. not just 1 novelty episode to say "hey i downloaded the daily show!"

oh and the 20GB hdd limit (i am aware of the upcoming 120gb) requires you to delete them eventually anyway.

i agree with Maverick0984, they can put videos online with ads and make revenue from that to pay royalties, they do nickel and dime you for everything on xbox. every month we get "new features" which just cost more and more, it's rediculous, the systems arleayd 400 bucks, the games are 60, what they should really do is put ad supported content on there, that'd get peoples attention..at least you'd have mine, i don't mind ads if they're for a free cause. until then, they're not getting a cent out of me

edit: why there aren't more services out there like this right now i have no idea..why major companies refuse to change is one thing i'll never understand in this life.

I never download movies from there, only the free stuff, videos, red vs blue, etc... I would really welcome ad based moves and tv. I mean, it did work fine for network tv for 40+ years.
