ok i think that webpafe that you just sent me a link to will work. Heres what the pinout on my ps2 board looks like. It looks the same...
This is how the numbers on that website match up to the points on the board. I could have just labeled the points in photoshop but that would be too easy. The top black is one...the bottom is two. top yellow is 3, bottom is 4.
The colors dont signify function (like red=+ and black=ground) I just put them in there to help you see the points.

i was planning on just finding the video + and ground and 12v and ground and soldering to the corresponding points on the mobo. As of now though Im still not sure exactly which points on the ps2 jack to use.

alright, so now i know that the power requires 8.5v, so now all i need to know is how many mA the screen is so that I can know which resistor to use to solder it to the 12v source on the 360. How can I find out how many mA the screen is?

No site that I have seen so far says how much ma it has.
As a test, try hooking the positive side of the power for the screen up to a 12v line, and the negative side up to a 5v line. This will give the screen 7 volts of power. If it works with 7v, then forget the resistor all together, and keep it wired to 12v and 5v.

OK so ill use the 12v under the psu and would this be ok for the 5v?
