i just got my external hd and i was wondering is there a way to change the video thumbnails off my drive it looks really crappy without any thing

Not sure if it would work, but try changing the name of a .jpg to filename.tbn, where filename is the name of the video. It's worth a try. Also try a search, the guys over in the XBMC area maybe of some help to you.

it cant be done, i was wondering the same, and would like to be able to hide the media extensions as well. MS need to clean this area up, and make external hds etc like like they`re part of the dash, and not something thats just dumped there. Even at a push we should be able to add our own descriptions as well in a txt file, problem is adding stuff like that can lead to exploits.

Ive Been Able To Get Thumbnails To Work With MP4 Video Not Tryed With WMVs

I Used iTunes To Add The Art To The MP4 Video

I tried that and it still didn't show up. What did you use to stream the videos to your xbox?
