Hello all together,

I just got my 360 flashed from a friend of mine and bought 2 original games from him too!

Before flashing I played Project Gotham Racing 3 without any freeze and Smackdown VS. RAW 2007 only freezed one time.

Now my 360 was flashed and it nearly freezed 3 times within 2 days after playing Def Jam (one time) and Lost Planet (2 times when I was fighting against really huge enemies)!

All Games I am playing are original ones, no backups!

Does anyone has an idea if that is probably nothing to worry about or do I have to be afraid that my 360 is freezing too often!

Remove the hdd from your unit (assuming you have one) boot up the games and see if they work.
If they work then google xbox 360 cache deletion. If they don't flash to your old firmware and see if that works.

Does your other games (like PGR3 and Smackdown) still play fine without freezes or does all the games suddenly have issues ?

Are the new game discs scratched or damaged in any way ?

If your console is placed in a cramped space with bad airflow you could try move it to another place with free space around it to increase the cooling. Never put the console in a small cabinet with closed front glass doors or similar furniture (kind of usual in peoples livingrooms) as that may make your console to overheat and freeze/break.

It's a good suggestion to try without HD and go back to original flash if the problems persist and see if it goes away.

I don't have a hdd which I could remove...

Well, the discs are a little bit scratched, but I think these kind of scratches usual.

The older Games (Smackdown VS Raw, PGR3) still work fine!

Yes, the 360 is placed in a small space. There is no door in front of it, but there is not plenty of space to the left and the right...
I will check right away if that might be the Problem!

Well, Def Jem still freezes and always freezes shortly after the beginning of the second fight (in career mode)

Does anyone has a clue?
