Edge defeated The Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship at the SD! taping in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, after cashing in the Money in the Bank title shot. This match happened after the steel cage match between The Undertaker and Batista that had that resulted in a draw where both men's feet touch the floor at the same time. After the match, Mark Henry attacked The Undertaker, leaving Edge to cash in his money in the bank (which he won from Mr Kennedy on RAW). The Undertaker, already battered and bloody, was quickly defeated by Edge and lost the World Heavyweight Championship to him.
