Hi, I'm trying to update my firmware to Garyopa Hitachi-LG Xtreme v1.7 Jitter-Fix. I'm using the suggested VIA VT6421L chipset sata card.

Now i restored my firmware back to original using my back up files from the last vergion. I have the drive in mode B windows Finds it. i run toolbox put a dvd in to dump the firmware about 10secs after is ejects the dvd. So i use classic method works fine till i get to flashing and it just keeps ejecting the media so i cant flash the drive.

This is doing my head in lol. Is their no command line way of doing it without the toolbox because it just isnt working i have to say im kinda wish the old firmware bk on lol.

Anyways hopefully someone knows where im going wrong. thanks very much ns360

Notes

OS: Win XP Pro
Xbox does still play original games so restore didnt go wrong.
It does spin the disk up before ejecting it and ive tried differnt dvds and games.
I've also tried using onboard sata still no joy.
