I had a couple games and some music on my HD that i deleted some time ago. I was wondering if its possible to remove the drive and put it into my pc and run some type of recovery software to try and get these back. Is it possible?

I have an older version of Evox (V+393 ?) on this xbox and I notice that the drive is locked. Sorry I'm really new to a lot of this stuff as I wasn't the one that modded it.

Any advice would be great. Thanks!

No, unfortunately, it's not possible to recover the data that you deleted.

You will need to re-copy your games and music back to your console.

Ok so I did some searching and I found a few things like HDD drivers and stuff for an xbox HDD. This is a 200GB Barracuda and I know that you can make it a usable drive again for a pc, but I gather you'd have to full format it to do this? No way to turn it into a HDD compatible for a pc and still keep the info on there? I have everything to load back onto the drive so I'm not worried about losing whats on there now, but I'd really like to get back what I deleted if there's any remote possibility of doing this...

No, if you format your hard drive to a PC standard, you will lose any Xbox data that was saved on it.

Once you delete something from your Xbox's hard drive, it is not recoverable.
