Alrighty I have a V1.0 xbox (day one actually) and decided to mod it. So, my modchip still isn't in, so the last few days I opened it up, and tried to desolder the LPC holes. Well I managed to get most of them desoldered but I'm really worried I burned the heck out of my board..so I got home and found out I still haven't recieved the mod chip (ughhhhh) so I decided to check if my xbox works in the mean time.

So I hook it up (I have computer knowledge, but basically this was mostly a guessing game, but I'm 90% sure I have all the plugs in the right spots) and then I turn it on...then it turns off, turns on, and then pulses in red and green....it's fragging right?

So I have no idea what to do. An xbox with desoldered LPC holes is still supposed to run properly right? So I need to solve this before I get my chip tommorow? (In other words, installing the chip isn't going to make it work)

I don't see any solder splashs atleast I don't think so..man this is frustrating I'm hoping I didn't ruin my xbox sad.gif

Please somebody help me out here...

Actually now it's flashing red and orange, which is actually kind of a good thing I suppose...that means I can connect the two points together and it should work...

from this article...

I got it working! YAY!

I guess now when I add the DuoX2 Blue I'll just wrap the wire around the pin header? (since that slot was filled fixing my xbox tongue.gif)
