I have xtreme 5.3 firmware, was playing original UEFA FIFA tonight and it hit 22:15 and boom xbox live comes up and says disconnected from xbox live, then disconnected from messenger, I have checked all the cabling and nothing is wrong with the internet. I have power cycled the modem and the router and the 360. Could this be the awful time as the Halo3 beta dawns?

I have a 12month subscription and lots of paid content. I only really have a couple of backups as only recently got a new PC.

I hope it is just a glitch for me, if this is a perm fixture I will be looking further into the PS3, however I don't want to do that!...

Got to admit thats good timing for M$ in time with the new Halo Beta, ah you got to love them, guess it may be time to think about things!

I just went to system blade, view system info and it signed me back in, weird!

I called MS support today on a different note but was told that live was down as of now. So if you have a modded drive or not xbox live is down.

I was downloading Halo 3 beta and it just signed me off live and is now telling me to check my network connection or that there is something wrong with my account. I have the older 5.2 flash for the Toshiba Samsung drive, I didn't upgrade... hopefully I am not banned. I'm going to call MS tomorrow about my problem.

Keep the stories coming guys, i have a 360 with a v78 drive and the V2.3 opa 8 in one Steath firmware on my drive. Wasn't planning on upgrading the firmware if there wasn't any problems with live. If no one else reports anything, i'll do an upgrade on friday. cool.gif

it stopped wrking for me too, no emails from MS, i can still sign in at xbox.com. i was playing halo 3 beta with a backup of crackdown last night sad.gif

i have a Hitachi 46 drive with the new 2.4 FW and i was playing Ncaa 07 last night (backup) and all was well. Today it would not connect to xbox live. So i tested my connection and it failed at the xbox live part. So i went to the more info section of IP address and it said this console has been banned!!!!! I put in my original to see if it would change things but nothing Sad Funny thing i waited, not connecting to xboxlive until yesterday and updated my FW and still got the axe. Sad
