I don't think there is anything wrong with releasing a special edition unless the regular and special edition is different. PC games often do this now were the special edition has more stuff built into the game. That just pisses me off because you almost have to buy the special edition. Imagine if Halo 3 Legendary Edition had extra levels or more maps that were exclusive for the Legendary Edition and there was no other way to get them.

straight conversion makes it around 45 quid, but i suspect it will be around 70. some of the kit there seems pretty impressive.

wait does it come with BOTH the 360 and PS3 versions of the game?

I love me some special editions... this one seems particularly cool biggrin.gif

What's interesting is that it costs $90 while the H3 legendary edition comes with a useless helmet and costs $130

In every GTA/GTA Clone game I've ever played, by the time you do everything in the game you can quote the fake talk radio verbatim. I certainly don't think I'll want to listen to the in-game music after I'm done with the game. tongue.gif

Naw if you look close it says or ps3. Would be nice because then we could make some money back selling it or give it to a friend as a present biggrin.gif.

I saw Midway announced a sweet collectors edition only for PS3 - Strangelhold will be coming with the full HD version of "Hard Boiled" on the disc as well... damn, now I'm really wishing the 360 had an internal HD-DVD biggrin.gif

I think I might buy this special edition. $20 more for a duffle bag and a neat case both can be used for other things so thats cool. I dont think this special edition w ill have extra maps or any special content with it, even though I would like it because I'm buying it...

I was really impressed by the hardcover San Andreas book/DVD case for the PC and will definitely be purchasing this special edition.

I honestly dont think a cd, bag, keychain and an art book are really worth $30 more then the regular version. Now if there was some sort of making of or behind the scenes dvd or something like that then it would be a little more worth it.
