I have a dead xbox 1 with a working Philips DVD drive. Is there a way to connect it to my PC to use as a regular CD/DVD reader? I've tried hooking it up already and it is detected at startup by the BIOS, but Windows was unable to detect it. I've been out of the scene for a while and wasn't sure if there was a way.

Thanks.

You probably have to find a driver so that windows can recognize it so you can read things with it.
