i was at my buddys house when his xbox 360 got the error 74 death screen. now he says hes gonna update to the elite instead of paying $140 to fix it. so he says i can probably have the broken xbox 360 for modding/parts. so my question is if i mod one drive and use it offline, and use my original online, will this (A), work or (cool.gif, get me banned from xbl

btw im modding because i think taking things apart and stuff is fun
