Titan unveils the XFan, another cooler for the Xbox 360

Titan unveiled another external cooler addon for the Xbox 360:
[QUOTE]
Titan Computer Co., Ltd, a leader in the design and manufacture of computer cooling solutions, today unveiled the XFan that is especially designed for the Xbox 360. Titan XFan is a powerful silent cooler, which helps reduce the internal operating temperature of the Xbox 360 and prevent potential crashing.
Xbox 360 Xfan

While playing games for long periods of time, you can feel very hot air from the X360 box, but after attaching the XFan, you can physically feel how much cooler the air is when it comes out the back of your console. The XFan indeed provides great cooling performance and ensures the Xbox 360 without the overheating problem.

Features:
* Special design for the Xbox 360
* Two powerful silent fans with four bright LEDs
* Easy installation
* Without sacrificing the USB port by adding a USB port to the XFan
* USB power, no extra power adapter required
Product Available: Middle of June, 2007

Looks pretty cool. The USB power is a good idea, but that means its only getting 5v, so the fans wont be used to their full potential. I wont be getting one cos i dont really need one but it looks good for people who may be thinking of an extra cooling solution.

Still, if they built the 360 right in the first place...

Yeeeaa usb power kinda sucks. I wonder what the temp specs are though with it attached. I have a nyko right now and would buy if it will cool better than that.

Fans on top of Fans === a No No

This wears out fan bearings

though this uses the usb power this will be way better than that intercooler crap!!!!

i agree about the fans on fans issue - however maybe the weak USB power source will help with that...

seems to be quite late showing up with another cooling solution but it does look pretty good - will cause less problems with the box just using usb power too. i like how they talk about being an almost silent solution (which to me means unobtrusive) and then state that there are "four bright LEDs" as well...

Shit, I have left my 360 on for a day and a half. It was on accident but it works. I would never buy this product. The "special design" does not flow with the look of the 360.

And you posted because....?

The description is pretty stupid, pulling hot air out of the Xbox 360 is the purpose, if it is cooler air, that just means more of it is being absorbed back into the components. And not out of the Xbox 360...

I have an entitlement to my opinions. That’s why I posted. I personally do not like the product as I have briefly described. There is no need to bash people based on thoughts and opinions.

looks interesting. I wonder if some real world test will say wether or not this would be a good buy. If all else fails i will just get those Talismoon Fans and replace the interior Xbox360 Fan with those.
