There are too many specs - and you also need a high-definition TV, a broadband connection and a deep knowledge of gaming - these consoles are mismatched to today's environment. In a year or two years they will fare better."
Xbox 360 ships with standard def cables along with high-def cables, PS3 ships with standard cables only and no high def cables. If you needed a High Definition TV then you wouldn't be able to use the product out of the box.
A broadband connection is only required for downloadable content, most patches end up on the game disks themselves and on magazine disks. You can ask people on these very forums, there are some people that don't even have the Internet in there homes and they have a 360.
I'm sure there are many 12 year old's and maybe younger that have a PS3 and 360 when they should be really doing there homework
