I was wondering about everyones thoughts on the animation speed of the guide etc.
I know it depends on your connection speed to access the friends list and live things.
But ive went offline, pressed the guide button, it does open ok, ive seen on other user videos there guides and blade accessing is much MUCH faster! swoop, its open, everythings right there.

maybe its just me,

it kinda depends what you are doing. the guide is a background process on the console. so if you're in the middle of a game, chances are it'll load slower than if you're sitting in the dash.

Slow as hell during online play and fine while in the dash for me. Probably for the reason spinr34 suggested.
