I soldered my spider 1.1 into my 1.6a xbox and now the machine frags when chip is armed. when not armed my softmod loads fine. When machine frags there is no video. I am thinking maybe my chip isnt hitting bottom of pin header some of the pins are a lil unlevel. Could that be the problem? I mean they are barely off. I guess stranger things have happened. thanks for the help in advance.

Apply some pressure to the chip and and see if it still frags ?

Re-solder all joints adding a little extra solder to each one !

Use a digital multimeter to test each joint for continuity !
