Okay last night i flashed my ts-h943 with the xtreme 5.2a i backup my firmware before doing this and after i did the new flash my xbox just says open tray when i put anything in it. Then i flashed back to what i thought was my old firmware and it still does the same thing did i brick my xbox or can i fix this.

Are you putting originals in the box and getting open tray?

Do you make sure all your connections were secure (especialy the SATA cable on both ends of the xbox)

Firmware would not cause open try errors on originals. There must be something esle wrong with your drive.

Look up "rubberband fix" and try that.

Why didn't you use ixtreme v1.2?

I just wanted to try i dont understand why if i put the orig.bin back on that it still cant read my originals. Im thinking that when i backup the firmware that it didnt really make a correct backup would that cause me to have an open tray error and how can i tell if my original firmware is correct?


okay wow i just switch the sata cable that came with my xbox and now my originals work but not in hd for some reason still cant get a backup to boot but maybe ill try the newest firmware thanks for the help and ill report back any new findings

can you use the xtreme 1.2 with the xtreme boot maker it doesnt find that firmware?

okay now i tried to flash with the xtreme 1.2 but when i do i get a ERR: fail to open input file! any ideas why that is
