C4EVA iXTRM HITACHI v1.2 Stealth and Xbins Xbox Live Logger
Posted by Iriez | July 7 05:05 EST | News Category: Xbox360

A new firmware has been released for the Hitachi-LG GDR-3120L dvd-rom unit for the xbox360 ..
Defeats all current and some future Xbox Live detection attempts.

Thanks to all the beta testers, everyone involved for without their effort this would not have been possible. Keep up the good work everyone. Thanks also go to Fuzzylogic and GAryOPA. Always recommended: If your drive is flashed USE A RESTORE FIRST (Use the restore included on this package)
Two Commands (for flashing use only one: FlashIX):
FLASHIX.BAT: Flashes your drive with iXtreme 1.2 Fw Stealth (Media Detect 2,and Firwmare Stealth, (NO F900 Core)
RESTORE.BAT: Return your drive to original State, even if you have
firmware stealth in your drive
*RECOMENDATION: If you have flashed your drive in the past use RESTORE
first. If it is a brand new drive use directly the Flash command you
like.
I would like to note that while this release contains all retail versions of the hitachi, v78 users will currently not be able to flash until fw toolbox is updated, or another program is created to flash that version. v79 is also included, though can only be flashed externally with a tsop programmer (or until a software solution is created). This firmware is released to the public tested, though we do expect bugs, as with any project. Please post in the forums to let us know your results.

Xbins Xbox Live logger!

We have organized a small project to keep our page here updated with (almost) daily logs of commands being initiated while connected to xbox live. This will let the public be aware of exactly what is going on with the security involved, and possible new detection routines created. Enjoy!

Would also like to note this new fw has a open tray fix wink.gif

I would like to hear some success stories from people who previously had issue with open tray errors, or failures of 1.2 that didnt help.

Great news biggrin.gif

Thanks to C4E & the BETA Testers.
Hopefully Maximus will quickly release an update for FWtoolbox that includes 79fk flashing.

Cheers

First of all a big thank you to C4Eva for all the hard work involved , and to all the betatesters that where in the front line , taking all the risks so we the comon user would not get a fully untested firmware version.
today it is 07-07-07 and here in portugal we will have the election of the 7 new wonders, here in the scene if we had such voting i wold vote for nš 1 : C4EVA , for is hard work bringing to us everytime a better and safer firmware version.
