How about we ditch the headset (since EVERY X360 owner already has one) and just sell the chat pad for $19.99! Wow, what a thought.

The current headsets don't work with this add-on so you have to get the headset with it. The plug is different. It's probably like a normal headset that you would use your your cordless phone or PC now.

But 20.00 would make it nicer retail probably gets it at that price so I will start checking some managers on their manifests I want it at 20 bucks dammit

your right... once they realize how many little billy's can't get their moms to buy the chatpad because they're accounts won't let them use messenger, be interesting to see a "fix" hahah.. it'll all come out in the wash now... i'm going to assume you can still use the crappy wireless headsets too.. I have a halo headset preordered, but to be honest, I have a regular wireless one that I'm willing to my son, but I hate it.. i hate all microshaft headsets, one area they never got right.. POS's. Peace

My first thought is wow thats expensive. I could get a full size wireless keyboard and mouse for less than 20.

$30 is way too much!

I can buy a regular USB keyboard $4.

Why does this add on have to cost $30. That is crazy and BS for M$ to ask for that much. They probably only pay $3 to make it. All the input is done by the controller, this thing has no sophisticated electroncis in it at all. They could of left the headset port the same as the old one. Guess they want you to feel you are getting a deal by giving us another damn headset. If it is a wireless headset then yes, it would be a deal.

M$ is asking way too much!
