Microsoft already announced in their press release yesterday that they would release the Xbox360 Wireless Controller in new colors (pink, dark blue and light blue) for $49.99 in October. Today joystiq posted a real-life pic of the light blue and pink controller:

interesting choice of colors. am i the only one reminded of easter by that pic? all it needs is that easter light yellow color to go with the pink and light blue. i hope they expand the color palette a little bit, maybe introduce a cool looking green controller, or perhaps an orange or something a bit darker.

I just can not imagine listening in on that meeting or presentation of the introduction of these colors..

what the hell were they thinking? Not to mention it probably had to go throuh so many people and they all agreed?


OR

M$ sure is damn desperate to get more sales than ps3 they are catering to babies .
What babies would complain about Rrod issues.

it seems to me that with the xbox360, they really want to grab the girl crowd of gamers. and any girl whos not a gamer probly wont say no to the occasional game with her boyfriend or whatever if she has her own "pink or baby blue" controller to play with. Eventually it may work up to becoming a full time dedicated gamer like all us cool people lol. I dunno thats just my guess at the whole thing...awfully pastel for my taste...i dont think theres anything that color in my entire household.

i would prob get dark blue. The controllers would prob look better without the grey. They dont go together.
